Donât miss this Welder role for a company in Riverside, MO. Successful candidates will be responsible for welding pipe products, (stainless steel and carbon steel) using advanced welding processes, setting up complex fixtures and equipment, and performing in-process weld quality inspections. This role requires expertise in 6G welding positions and a thorough understanding of welding procedures and safety standards. Applicants will be required to participate in a hands-on interview featuring a 6G weld test and blueprint reading. This is an associate to hire opportunity.<br />
<br />
<strong>Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong><br />
- Ensure all welds for carbon steel pipe are performed using the primary process&nbsp;<br />
- Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) where possible; in some cases where unable to use primary process, a secondary process will be used: Shield Metal Arc Welding &nbsp;(SMAW)<br />
- Perform all stainless-steel welds with Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process as per company procedure<br />
- Ensure all welds are clean, grinded, and inspected; repair welds, if necessary, before moving product to the next operation<br />
- Ensure all welds are performed 6G position with the aid of fixture and rotating equipment<br />
- Ensure that the welder stamps are applied to every carbon steel fitting (for traceability purpose), application of other stamps may be required<br />
- All welds to be performed according to drawings<br />
- Ensure that all inspection records and other record requirements are filled out neatly and correctly and returned to supervisor at the end of workday<br />
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with established company procedures<br />
- Make sure that the welding machine calibration sticker is updated<br />
- Maintain a neat and clean workplace; comply with any FEM and LEAN manufacturing principles<br />
- Immediately report any unsafe equipment to the supervisor, lock out equipment until repairs can be performed<br />
- Adherent to company policies and safety procedures<br />
- Use flame cutting equipment if instructed<br />
<br />
<strong>Welder Requirements:</strong><br />
- Good verbal and written communication skills<br />
- Qualified in FCAW (Flux Core Arc welding) process, (Carbon steel)<br />
- Qualified in SMAW (Shield Metal Arc Welding) process (Carbon steel and Stainless Steel)<br />
- MIG aluminum welding an asset<br />
- Able to safely operate hand and power tools<br />
- Able to read blueprints<br />

<strong>Electronic Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong><br />
- Set up and operate appropriate tools, equipment, and fixtures for product assembly<br />
- Solder wires and electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCB)<br />
