Responsibilities

<ul>
&#9;<li>Install Cat6 network cabling and pre-terminated fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode) in data center and commercial environments</li>
&#9;<li>Work with both LC and MPO fiber connectors to support high-performance network infrastructure</li>
&#9;<li>Dress, route, and organize cabling using industry-standard wire management practices, including cable trays, ladder racks, and J-hooks</li>
&#9;<li>Rack and stack network switches, servers, and other IT hardware</li>
&#9;<li>Accurately label cables, hardware, and pathways to maintain proper documentation and organization</li>
&#9;<li>Read and interpret network diagrams, floor plans, blueprints, and project specifications</li>

&#9;<li>Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards</li>

Requirements

<ul>
&#9;<li>Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, or data center environments</li>

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Operator position at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a direct hire position.&nbsp;<br>
<br>
<strong>Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong><br>
- Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, graders, backhoes, and paving equipment.<br>
- Perform grading, excavation, and material movement to meet project specifications.<br>
- Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure safe and accurate equipment operation.<br>
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure proper functionality and safety.<br>
- Perform minor maintenance and basic repairs; report major issues to appropriate personnel.<br>
- Adjust equipment operation based on terrain, grade, and site conditions.<br>
- Assist with general labor tasks and support plant or job site operations as needed.<br>
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.<br>
- Maintain awareness of surroundings, including moving equipment and changing site conditions.<br>
- Support team productivity and project timelines by adapting to changing priorities.<br>

<strong>Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:</strong><br>
- High school diploma or GED required.<br>
- Minimum of 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience (construction environment preferred).<br>
- Experience operating graders, backhoes, track hoes, and other specialty equipment strongly preferred.<br>
- Valid driverâs license required.<br>
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices and equipment operation standards.<br>
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, work orders, and project details.<br>
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.<br>
- Ability to apply practical problem-solving skills in field conditions.<br>
- Work extended schedules based on project demands, including 12-hour shifts and 5â6-day work weeks during peak season.<br>
- Lift, carry, and move materials up to 60 lbs. as needed.<br>
- Sit and operate equipment for extended periods, including exposure to vibration and movement.<br>
- Work outdoors in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, and humidity.<br>
- Navigate uneven terrain and active construction zones safely.<br>

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Shop Mechanic at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.&nbsp;<br>

<strong>Shop Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong><br>
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests and identifying worn and damages parts.<br>
- Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing component and part upgrades and controlling corrosion.<br>
- Performs all work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.<br>
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts or systemsâsuch as power and drive trains, electrical air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering hydraulics, completes machine shop operations.<br>
- Makes alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, hydraulics, pneumatic and traction units.<br>
- Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.<br>
- Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety and combustion control standards.<br>
- Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing and painting.<br>
- Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.<br>
- Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs.<br>
- Shop tools are provided by the company. &nbsp;Employee must provide a full general toolbox with some special tools.<br>
- Must continue to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical journals and regulation publications.<br>
- Maintains and assures cleanliness and neatness of shop area. &nbsp;Assures safety standards are met.<br>
- Other duties may be assigned.<br>
<br>
<strong>Shop Mechanic Requirements:</strong><br>
- Requires a vocational/technical diploma; or three to six months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.<br>
- Previous experience working on diesel Mack trucks preferred. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>
- A valid CDL driver's license is preferred or must be able to qualify and obtain a CDL within a reasonable amount of time.<br>
- Must have a valid driverâs license and be insurable under the companyâs insurance plan.<br>
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule. Must be able to work nights and weekends.&nbsp;<br>
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds to shoulder height. &nbsp;<br>

<strong>Wage:</strong> $47,840-$54,080 per year<br>

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Field Service Technician at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.&nbsp;<br>
<br>
<strong>Field Service Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong><br>
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and performs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system repairs on company machinery and equipment out in the field at job sites.<br>
- Operates equipped service truck with OE level diagnostic software.<br>
- May assist other mechanics in a support role at the shop when needed.<br>
- Performs all work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.<br>
- Other duties may be assigned.<br>
<br>
<strong>Field Service Technician Requirements:</strong><br>
- Associates degree in diesel or automotive technology; and<br>
- 5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.&nbsp;<br>
- Valid Driverâs License.&nbsp;<br>
- Must provide own tools of the trade.<br>
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds<br>
- Must be able to operate with minimal supervision, be a trouble shooter and take initiative to investigate and resolve problems.&nbsp;<br>
- Must be able to work well with others.<br>
- Must be flexible regarding work assignments and demonstrate willingness to perform other support duties during non-busy times.<br>
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.&nbsp;<br>
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.<br>
