<strong>Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong><br />
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment<br />
- Perform sanding, puttying, scraping, and surface preparation to meet product specifications<br />
- Operate various hand tools and power tools in accordance with safety and operational standards<br />
- Apply, wipe, and finish stain on products to achieve required quality standards<br />
- Load and unload materials and finished products throughout the production process<br />
- Assemble products and components according to established work instructions<br />
- Package and box finished products for shipment and storage<br />
- Inspect parts and finished products for accuracy, quality, and proper identification<br />
- Verify product counts and documentation before transferring items to the next production stage<br />
- Participate in team meetings and quality control initiatives<br />
- Support production schedules and meet daily manufacturing goals<br />
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations<br />
<br />
<strong>Production Associate Requirements:</strong><br />
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred<br />
- Minimum 6 months of related manufacturing or production experience preferred<br />
- Ability to read and use measurement tools accurately<br />
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals<br />
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions<br />
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards<br />
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment<br />
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to and exceeding 50 pounds<br />
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions<br />
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts)<br />
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment<br />
- Use hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, finishing tools, measuring instruments, and packaging equipment<br />

- Generate and maintain accurate stores pick lists for all work orders and production needs<br />
- Partner with warehouse team to track material issuance and resolve discrepancies<br />
- Ensure production orders are accurately completed and closed upon fulfillment<br />
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support uninterrupted production<br />
- Identify potential shortages and collaborate with Inventory Control and Purchasing to initiate replenishment actions<br />
- Support cycle counting, reconciliation activities, and inventory accuracy initiatives as needed<br />
- Assist in scheduling inbound deliveries of materials, ensuring alignment with production timelines and storage capacity<br />
- Coordinate outbound shipments for finished goods, prototypes, repairs, or service orders<br />
- Work with logistics partners, warehouse teams, and carriers to secure on-time shipments<br />
- Communicate shipment schedules, delays, or changes to internal stakeholders to minimize disruption<br />
- Maintain accurate and timely planning, production, and inventory data within ERP/SAP or other systems<br />
- Audit production orders, pick lists, and inventory transactions for completeness and accuracy<br />
- Escalate critical shortages, supplier issues, or system discrepancies as appropriate<br />
- Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing planning efficiency, material flow, and operational performance<br />
<br />
<strong>Planner/Expeditor Requirements:</strong><br />
- 2+ years of experience in planning, expediting, production control, or supply chain coordination<br />
- Strong understanding of material flow, inventory management, and production processes<br />
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office tools<br />
- Excellent organizational and communication skills<br />
- Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive priorities<br />
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred<br />
