Position Title: Yard Shuttle
Wage: $18/hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, 4pm-2am Tuesday-Friday
QPS has immediate driving positions available in the North Kansas City area. 1st and 2nd shift hours available. Must have a valid driver's license. Honesty and safe driving habits are needed for this position. Please contact our office or stop on in to get started ASAP!
Yard Shuttle Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Track unit receiving storage, off site service provides, and shipping lanesÂ
- Will use several tracking mechanisms, reports, and web-based input structures, etc.
- Respond to unsafe practices immediately and perform regular audits and scheduled inventories onsite and offsite
- Work with OEM/transport companies to maintain accurate and timely vehicle status recordsÂ
- Input data into vehicle tracking spreadsheets, reports, and databases
- Drive vehicles in observance of the law
Yard Shuttle Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended amounts of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel as needed
- High level of attention to detail and organized
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with customers, coworkers, and leaders
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient with computers including handheld scanners
- Function with a team, take direction, and have a positive attitude always
