Hours: 5:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Thurs with overtime available Fri)
QPS Employment Group has a great Structural MIG Welder position available at a company in Jackson, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Structural MIG Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform MIG welding on heavy plate materials.
- Utilize .035 and .045 wire for structural welding applications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications.
- Ensure welds meet size, strength, and quality requirements.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Structural MIG Welder Requirements:
- Previous MIG welding experience in a structural or heavy plate environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attendance and strong work ethic.
