QPS Employment Group is working with a busy machine shop in Cedar Falls to fill a Welder + Fabricator role. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity which means you will be a full-time, permanent employee on day one! This company has a diversified book of business, including agriculture, road construction, conveyor, earth moving equipment plus more!
Weld Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Produce parts and welded assemblies according to blueprints and specifications
- Interpret blueprints and design specifications
- Use a tape measure accurately
- Operate a saw to cut materials as per prints or cut lists
- Perform welding using MIG and Flux Core techniques
- Operate other equipment as needed
- Fulfill additional tasks as required
Weld Fabricator Requirements:
- 2+ years of welding job experience
- Pass a welding proficiency test during the interview
- Stand and be on feet for 8-10 hour shift
