We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in Grinnell, IA on the weekend shift. This position involves picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately using order sheets and handheld scanners
- Locate products and retrieve items from designated shelving areas
- Pack orders using appropriate boxes and packing materials
- Verify items and packing slips for accuracy
- Complete paperwork for outgoing shipments
- Organize and store incoming supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Requirements for Warehouse:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to repeatedly lift 5–40 lbs.
- Team lift required for items over 40 lbs.
- Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and crouching
