Position Title: Warehouse
Wage: $18.00/hour
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role is responsible for handling materials, verifying inventory accuracy, and preparing products for shipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and contributing to a fast-paced team environment. This is a potential to hire role in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Warehouse Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Load and unload materials manually or using warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Receive, store, and move incoming materials, products, and equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for outbound shipments
- Maintain clean, organized warehouse and storage areas in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards
- Verify inventory accuracy by comparing physical stock to system records and investigating discrepancies
- Assist with packaging, quality control, and shipping processes
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
Warehouse Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret written and verbal work instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in packaging, picking, quality assurance/control, and shipping
- Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
- Willingness to train on forklift operation and inventory control systems
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Equipment used include forklift, pallet jack, and standard warehouse tools (training provided as needed)
- Assigned warehouse and storage zones
- May include occasional overtime based on operational needs
