Job Description
Position Title: Warehouse
Wage: $18-$20/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a company in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. The position requires hands-on work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for long-term growth and advancement. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Warehouse Controller Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support overall warehouse operations to ensure efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Warehouse Controller Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse experience preferred (1+ year ideal)
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable attendance and ability to work long-term
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift
