This is a family owned seed company that has been serving farmers for 70 years. Warehouse Position Responsibilities:
-Loading the bags on the machines.
-Entering the weight in the bagging machine, and check the weights on the scale
-Running the bags through the sewing machine to close them and add the labels
For the Seed Totes:
-Place pallets and hang the tote on the machine
-Zero out the scale and fill the totes to the correct weight
-Tie the tote bags shut and move the pallet using the forklift (after training by client)
-Power Washing the seed boxes
-Helping to palletize the seed bags
-Wrapping pallets for shipping
Physical Requirements:
-Prolonged standing for 8hr - 12hr shifts.
-Repetitive bending, squatting, reaching and lifting.
-Lift up to 50lbs. repetitively Team lift for anything over 50lbs. occasionally
-Ability to work in a hot/cold environment
Requirements for Warehouse Position:
-Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history. Please include details of your work experience on your resume
-High School Diploma or GED required
-Ability to read and interpret documents
-Prior Production experience is preferred but not required
