Job Description
Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Wage: $18.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)
Join a fast-paced, detail-oriented warehouse team in Lenexa, KS where organization, accuracy, and accountability are key! As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a vital role in inspecting and processing returned items, ensuring every product is handled properly and records are meticulously maintained.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect returned items for damage, defects, or discrepancies
- Document findings and update return records in the computer system
- Process return transactions and ensure proper handling of damaged or defective goods
- Move and organize returned products as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Operate forklift occasionally (minimal usage)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Previous warehouse or inspection experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach throughout shift
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may vary in temperature
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain focus during detailed inspections
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email, inventory systems)
