QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Trimmer at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 3rdshift, apply today!
Trimmer Responsibilities:
- Trim / deburr plastic parts
- Inspect and review plastic parts right after they are molded to make sure that there are no defects in the parts
- Use a variety of hand tools and power equipment to perform necessary trimming parts to meet the part specifications including heat gun, scraper, etc.
- Properly identify and prevent defective parts from being used
- Provide coverage for Machine Operator
- Ensure that parts are in accordance with customer and qualify specifications, while maintaining an appropriate production pace
Requirements for Trimmer:
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Prior production experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions
- Safety Awareness-Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
- Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English is required
- Ability to perform critical thinking and problem solving
- High attention to detail
- Ability to perform simple math and measurements
