Steel Polisher Responsibilities:
- Perform grinding, polishing and buffing of stainless steel parts with complex recesses, radii and contours to meet pharmaceutical industry standard
- Operate and maintain polishing tools and equipment, ensuring safety and precision
- Select appropriate methods, abrasives and dressing tools for each job
- Inspect finished parts for surface finish quality, consistency and specification adherence
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain workflow efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Perform electropolishing tasks as needed to enhance surface quality and meet customer requirements
Requirements for Steel Polisher:
- Proven experience in grinding, polishing and buffing stainless steel parts
- Electropolishing/electroplating experience highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety standard and proper handling of polishing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical specifications
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies
- Ability to lift and carry parts up to 50lbs
