QPS Employment Group is hiring a Stamping/Punch Press Operator for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Stamping/Punch Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate manual part in part out mechanical stamping punch presses
- Review shop orders, work instructions, blueprints, and inspection records in order to produce quality parts
- Examine and measure product to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment as specified on inspection records
- Comply with policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system
Stamping/Punch Press Operator Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent
- Must have Machine Operator and stamping experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Strong industrial math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn tasks and follow directions, including use of measurement equipment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical
- Regular and predictable attendance required
