Job Description

Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Salary: $62,400-$74,880/year

Shift: 1st

We're looking for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, preventing downtime, and working in a collaborative manufacturing environment. Seeking a candidate who takes pride in keeping production running safely and efficiently will thrive in this role. This is a direct hire opportunity in Kenosha, WI.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Install, adjust, and maintain conveyors, presses, assembly equipment, and other manufacturing machinery
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Repair or replace motors, bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, sensors, valves, and other machine components
- Perform machine setups, alignments, and equipment changeovers as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and OSHA regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area

Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with basic electrical knowledge
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and power transmission systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus
- PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent attendance, communication, and teamwork
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and reach throughout the shift
- Work around moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
