Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Salary: $72,800-$93,600/year
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3:15pm-11:15pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Germantown, WI. This is a direct hire 2nd shift opportunity.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance and repairs on equipment, and find solutions for improvements to equipment to keep them running at or above required efficiency levels
- High level of troubleshooting and problem-solving with mechanical systems such as injection mold machines, conveyors, pick and place, and automated systems
- Expert with test equipment such as vibration meters, laser alignment systems, etc.
- High level of troubleshooting and problem-solving of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain accurate work logs of repairs using the CMMS work order system and equipment modifications, including preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure information is available to appropriately manage workloads
- Utilize PDCA to solve problem and drive improvements
- Execute 5’s procedures and standards
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance technician or journeyman certification
- 7+ years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment and/or state indentured industrial mechanic Journeymen plus 3 years of experience
- High level ability to read and utilize prints and drawings of components and mechanical systems
- Excellent mechanical skills and technical aptitude
- Demonstrated an organized, logical, and detailed method of troubleshooting
- Must have strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
