- Fabricate, modify, or repair replacement parts using machine shop equipment when necessary.
- Maintain an appropriate inventory of maintenance parts and communicate replacement-part needs.
- Document completed repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout practices.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a metal stamping, metal forming, coil processing, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience repairing and troubleshooting stamping presses strongly preferred.
- Experience with recoilers, uncoilers, shears, leveling equipment, or coil-processing machinery highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and machine shop equipment.
- Ability to diagnose equipment failures independently and determine the appropriate repair.
- Strong sense of urgency when responding to production downtime.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working in an active metal manufacturing environment.

The strongest candidate will come from a stamping, metal forming, perforating, steel processing, or coil-processing facility and will have personally repaired stamping presses rather than simply performing general building or facility maintenance.
