CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Interpreting engineering drawings and CNC programs
- Setting up Mazak vertical machining centers and tooling accurately and efficiently
- Adjusting and Programming in Mazatrol
- Making necessary offset adjustments to tools and work offsets
- Maximizing efficiency by inspecting, cleaning, and skidding while the machine is cycling
- Inspecting machined parts and ensure they are within the appropriate tolerance
- Communicating relevant quantity and quality issues to management
- Assisting with other Machine Shop projects, as needed
Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience on Mazak mills is helpful
- Knowledge of Mazatrol programming, CMM and inspection equipment is preferred
