Position Title: Quality Technician II
Salary: $43,680-$52,000 per year
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3:00pm-12:00am
QPS Employment Group has a great Quality Technician II position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a 2nd shift, direct hire position.
Quality Technician II Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proficiently program and operate CMM to ensure accurate product measurements and compliance with quality standards.
- Perform product inspections and testing to meet customer and RBS quality specifications, generating quality documents such as inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and material certification packets for customers.
- Maintain the instrument calibration system (e.g., Gagetrack), ensuring all instruments are calibrated, documented, and maintained according to established procedures.
- Support the scrap/re-work process for discrepant products, ensuring proper documentation and corrective action implementation.
- Conduct gage repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) studies as necessary.
- Support ISO Quality System requirements and assist in conducting process audits to ensure compliance.
- Maintain the corrective action log and database, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of corrective actions.
- Facilitate the movement of parts and components as required, utilizing appropriate mobility tools, including manual handling, carts, and powered lift trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Any/all other duties as assigned.
Quality Technician II Requirements:
- Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 50 pounds and seldom lifting to 75lbs.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle and/or adjust equipment.
- Moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping.
