Position Title: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Wage: $25.00 - $40.00/hour
Shift: 12 Hour Days
Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Monday - Wednesday OR Thursday - Saturday + Every Other Sunday; Rotate Every 6 Months)

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician at a company in Sun Prairie, WI. This is a direct hire position for 12-hour day shift. Apply today!
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to place and/or secure electronic components onto printed circuit boards per customer specifications
- Adjust dimensions of conveyor for pallets used to hold and transport PCB’s through the wave-soldering process, using precision instruments and hand tools
- Place loaded pallets on conveyor line of machine and monitors pallets moving through the process verifying that timing, temperatures and dimensions are set according to given standards
- Observe meters, gauges and indicator lights to ensure that soldering of PCB’s conform to processing standards
- Run first piece of the job to ensure that the board is correct based on instructions
- Examine sampling of soldered boards to detect any substandard soldering, discussing quality of soldering with coordinator
- Clean parts and interiors of machines and replenish fluids in machines and equipment
- Return substandard boards to associates for repair
- Operate surface mount robotic machine that places electronic components onto PCB’s
- Perform lot inspection on boards
- Review and release of final product within a specific work center
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- Ability to pass literacy, soldering and IPC operator proficiency tests
- Ability to lift up 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Manual dexterity along with small motor skills
- Good eye-hand coordination
- Familiarity with electronic components, polarity and values helpful
- Previous mechanical and/or inspection experience helpful
