Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $20.00 - $30.00/hour
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday - Friday) or 2:30pm - 1:00am (Monday - Thursday)

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and milling machines
- Set up, adjust, and operate basic or specialized machine tools for precision machining
- Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials
- Measure, examine, and test completed units using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Monitor feeds and speeds during machining operations
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications
- Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency
- Perform CNC program edits using G & M codes as necessary
- Diagnose machine tool malfunctions and determine required adjustments or repairs
- Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information
- Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools
- Dispose of scrap and waste materials in accordance with company and environmental policies
- Evaluate machining procedures and recommend improvements
- Dismantle machines or equipment to inspect and replace defective parts
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and troubleshoot issues
- Load workpieces and operate machines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary certificate in machining or manufacturing preferred
- At least three years of experience working with CNC mills
- At least one year of setup experience, including speeds and feeds selection
- OSP controller experience preferred
- Some FANUC controller experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in machining
- Ability to safely and effectively operate machinery
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Effective time management and dependability
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
