Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $25-$38/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 3pm-11pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Machinist for a company in Cedarburg, WI. This is a direct hire role.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up, program, and tun CNC machines
- Inspect your own parts
- Maintain accurate inspection documentation using precision measuring instruments
- Perform multiple short run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool changes
- Maintain a safe working environment
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers, CNC 5-Axis OR CNC Lathes is required
- Ability to program using Mastercam and/or Mazatrol is required
- Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings
- Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to process precision parts from start to finish
