Sheet Metal Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect sheet metal for imperfections
- Check length of metal using a tape measure
- Stack metal onto racks with the correct piece count
- Clean sheet metal by shaking and wiping down surfaces
- Maintain a work area free of scrap and excess materials
- Read and follow blueprints and work orders accurately
Requirements for Sheet Metal:
- Experience with computers or CNC-operated machines helpful
- Experience using calipers, angle finders, and tape measures helpful
- Experience with bending or fabricating equipment such as brake presses, punch presses, or shears helpful
- Able to lift 30 lbs. throughout the shift
- Able to work in hot environments
- Able to perform fast-paced hand-eye movements
