QPS Employment Group is seeking an experienced Set-Up Operator to support our customer in Arlington Heights, IL. Â This position is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating grinding and production machines to ensure efficient production and consistent quality. Apply today!
Set-Up Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate grinding and production machines according to company procedures
- Load and unload parts into machines and ensure proper alignment
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools and visual inspection
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Follow safety guidelines and production standards
- Communicate with supervisors regarding machine performance or production issues
Requirements for Set-Up Machine Operator:
- Able to perform machine set-upsÂ
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–40lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
