Position Title: Service Technician
Wage: $47,840-$62,400 per year
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Service Technician position available at a company in Omaha, NE. This is a direct hire, 1st shift position.
Service Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and repair fluid handling products.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of pumping equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic.
- Read and interpret pump manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on pumps and equipment.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Service Technician Requirements:
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- Frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- High school diploma/GED and some mechanical repair experience required.
- Post-secondary or trade school; or previous pump repair experience is preferred but not required.
