QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Sanitation role for a company in Watertown, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 3rd shift.
Sanitation Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
- Work together as a team and promote innovation and cooperation in order to solve issues that may evolve
- Prepare facility equipment for cleaning by locking out machinery and covering all electrical equipment
- Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
- Rinse, foam, scrub, and sanitize production equipment ensuring that all areas meet company and USDA standards of acceptability
- Conduct environmental and bioluminescence swabbing
- Wipe condensation
- Maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that production quality is maintained
- Perform and rotate through several job functions within each department
- Report any issues with food safety, food quality, or personnel safety to management
Sanitation Requirements:
- Ability to work at heights that are above ground level
- Ability to hold a hose for an extended period of time
- Prolonged standing
- Ability to work in cold and wet conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to identify Critical Control Points (CCPs) in area of responsibility and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's)
- Ability to do basic addition and subtraction issues
- Able to complete sanitation documentation paperwork accurately
- Previous sanitation experience preferred
