Job Description
Position Title: Residential Frame Assembler
Wage: $18.75 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Residential Frame Assembler position available at a company in Montezuma, IA. In this role, you’ll work from design plans and labeled materials to assemble a variety of framing components. Each project is custom, so the work can vary in complexity. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.Â
Residential Frame Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Measure and cut lumber and other building materials.
- Assemble custom wood framing components.
- Follow design plans and production instructions.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, nail guns, and staple guns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Work with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Residential Frame Assembler Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to read and understand basic design plans.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Construction or framing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
