Job Description
Position Title: Residential Frame Assembler
Wage: $18.75/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)
In this role, you will construct residential wood frame components using production software and detailed design plans. You will work with labeled materials to assemble custom-built components for homes, with projects varying in size and complexity. Apply to this 1st shift opportunity in Montezuma, IA today!
Residential Frame Assembler Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut and prepare building materials
- Assemble residential framing components according to plans
- Read and follow blueprints and design specifications
- Follow all safety standards and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with team members
Requirements for Residential Frame Assembler:
- Ability to read and interpret design plans / blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Comfortable using hand and power tools (saws, nail guns, staple guns, etc.)
- Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
