QPS Employment Group is seeking a Metal Finishing Line Operator Lead for our client company in Elk Grove Village, IL. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the efficiency of the finishing line while providing guidance and supervision to other line operators. Receiving Responsibilities:
- Unload semi-trailers of ingredients and inspect / validate materials received
- Verify packaging documents to what was received and route packing slips and invoices to Purchasing Coordinator
- Enter receipts of goods info into computer system
- Ensures packaging items are put away, ensuring ingredient room is cleanÂ
- Communicate ingredient quality issues to Purchasing Coordinator
Requirements for Receiving:
- Able to operate electric pallet jack and forklift
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to perform repetitive tasks
- Able to stand or walk for duration of shift
- Able to crouch, bend, twist, push and pull throughout shift
