Quality Technician Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct detailed inspections on products, raw materials, and assemblies using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Perform quality testing and analyze results to ensure all products meet established specifications and standards
- Accurately record and report inspection results, ensuring all data is logged in compliance with company and industry standards
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes to reduce defects and enhance overall product quality
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, such as ISO 9001/ISO 13485, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and production teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Investigate and analyze quality issues, using root cause analysis and corrective action to prevent recurrence
Quality Technician Manager Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years in a quality technician role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry
- Proficient in using precision measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and gauge blocks
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Proficient in documentation and record-keeping, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Experience with quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in fields like medical device manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace
- Stand for extended periods
- Handling various tools and equipment
- Working in a production floor environment, following all safety protocols
