Job Description
Position Title: Quality
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
QPS Employment Group has a great Quality position at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. This role is ideal for someone with experience reading technical drawings and using precision measuring tools in a manufacturing environment.
Quality Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspect parts and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Use measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, and angle protractors to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Identify defects or inconsistencies and communicate findings to production or leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality checks.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for quality enhancement.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Quality Requirements:
- Previous experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, angle protractors, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
