Position Title: QC Assistant
Wage: $20-$25/hour
Shift: Split Shift
Hours: 11am-7:30pm Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring a QC Assistant for a company in Fort Atkinson, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
QC Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure all QC Techs consistently perform
- Visual and precision inspections of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Dimensional checks, defect detection, workmanship evaluation, and spec verification
- Proper completion of inspection forms, logs, and paperwork
- Conduct periodic audits of QC logs, inspections, and documentation for accuracy
- Maintain all quality documentation and ensure it is retrievable if requested by customers or internal teams
- Enforce existing SOPs, inspection procedures, safety requirements, and documentation standards
- Address incorrect inspection methods, incomplete paperwork, or procedural drift immediately
QC Assistant Requirements:
- Prior experience in quality control or manufacturing preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure
- High attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures
- Comfort providing feedback and enforcing standards consistently
- Ability to train staff and maintain positive working relationships
