QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Â
Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment, hoists, and production machinery.
- Load and unload materials and finished products.
- Monitor machine performance and identify defects.
- Make minor adjustments and notify supervisors of issues.
- Complete housekeeping and safety inspections.
Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints and production documentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify quality concerns and production issues.
- Ability to maintain productivity while meeting safety and quality expectations.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to consistently lift 75–100 pounds depending on position and department.
