This is a role for a Production Specialist in Fort Atkinson, WI.
Production Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assembly of various products related to scales, sensors, and indicators
- Read a blueprint and use various hand tools or machines to complete the specific build task
- Work as part of a team and assisting others is essential in reaching expected production goals and quality standards.
- Read work orders to understand scope and details of assignments
- Interpret basic blueprints to perform duties
- Interpret and follow assembly instructions
- Ensure work area is stocked with parts, connectors, seals etc. to perform work
- Prepare Shortage Report and replenish stock as needed
- Set up and operate a variety of production machines to fulfill duties including soldering tool, screwdrivers, drills, cable cutters and related equipment
- Perform other duties as required
- Clean and pack product
- Read charts to identify the correct pop rivet for each bar
- Check for non-conforming materials that don’t pass the meter test
- Prepare time studies, quality reports, etc.
- Perform assembly duties to include soldering and hand assembly
Production Specialist Requirements:
- Specialized training in assembly, production, electronics is helpful
- Soldering skills
- Must possess good manual dexterity for assembly duties
- Possess good attention to detail
- Possess good teamwork skills
- Able to work independently without close supervision
- Understand basic production and quality principles
