Position Title: Production Operator

Wage: $20.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Operator at a company in Mount Pleasant, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply now!

Production Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, monitor and clean blending and processing equipment used to manufacture food ingredient products
- Accurately weigh, measure and stage raw materials according to batch formulas and production instructions
- Load ingredients into blending equipment and monitor mixing processes to ensure proper product consistency and quality
- Verify raw materials and lot numbers before use and document batch information according to established procedures
- Transfer in-process materials and finished products to packaging, storage, or additional processing areas
- Package finished products into appropriate containers such as drums, pails, or bags and prepare them for storage or shipment
- Prepare packaging materials and ensure correct product labels are printed and applied
- Collect product samples and submit them to Quality Control for testing according to product specifications
- Monitor product quality during production and communicate with supervisors or Quality personnel if adjustments are required
- Complete required production documentation, batch records, and inventory transactions within the ERP system (SAP or equivalent)
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas according to sanitation procedures and GMP requirements
- Follow all company safety policies, GMP regulations, and food safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status, material needs, or equipment issues

Requirements for Production Operator:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in food, ingredient, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred
- Experience with batch processing or blending operations highly desirable
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to read and follow detailed batch formulas, production instructions and standard operating procedures
- Basic math skills including weighing, measuring, and converting quantities using the metric system
- Ability to safely operate industrial blending and processing equipment
- Ability to operate a forklift or other material handling equipment (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Ability to use basic hand tools for equipment setup, adjustment, and cleaning
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality, traceability, and compliance with GMP standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move materials or equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, or reach while loading materials or cleaning equipment
