Production Operator Responsibilities:
- Assemble components using hand tools and basic equipment while ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Operate and support injection molding machines by loading materials and monitoring production to ensure smooth operation
- Inspect parts to verify they meet quality standards and identifying any defects or inconsistencies
- Package, label and prepare finished products for shipment or storage
- Move materials and finished goods using pallet jacks or manual handling, as well as maintaining clean work areas, machines, and equipment
- Regrind scrap material and dispose of waste properly while promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions, material issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
- Adhere to safety, quality management (QMS), and environmental (EMS) procedures
Requirements for Production Operator:
- Ability to stand or sit for up to eight hours per shift and to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
- Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills are necessary for assembling small components, along with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience, preferred
- Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently as well as part of a team, and demonstrate reliable attendance along with a strong work ethic
- Spanish or Bilingual preferred
- Ability to train on 1st shift for two weeks then move to 3rd shift; hours are 6am to 2pm
