Production Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain machine accordance with batch record, safety and quality standards
- Ensure process optimization through routine mechanical adjustments
- Conduct daily line huddle communication meeting
- Review jackets and ensure proper components and resources are at the line
- Escalate quality, service, and equipment performance issues to supervision
- Interact with team to ensure machine performs optimally
- Order components when necessary
- Answer questions and resolve issues for associates on the line
- Complete paperwork to include: scrap calculations, recovery and production rates, batch record entries
- Lead and perform lot in and lot out, line clearance, and deep clean functions (Safe guards in place)
- Actively participate in Gemba and/or Safety Gemba as applicable on their line
Production Operator Requirements:
- Ability to perform basic computer tasks
- Ability to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems that involve several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
- Ability to run multiple technologies and integrated lines
- Ability to show success in managing employees
