Production Lead Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment and ensure safety of all personnel on assigned shift
- Direct hourly workforce on assigned shift
- Sustain proper staffing of hourly workers and reporting staffing requirements on the Production Manager for assigned shift
- Regulate current input and plating time to obtain desired thickness of plate
- Work with formula and specifications from the work order
- Use testing and measuring instruments incidental to operations and the parts being plated to assure quality within customers specifications
- Complete all the paperwork necessary and incidental to the plating operation
- Perform housekeeping of entire plant during the shift
- Perform other functions incidental to the plating operation such as cleaning of tanks, repairing racks, minor maintenance of equipment, or other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
