QPS Employment Group is looking for a Production Operator to work for a manufacturing facility in Richfield, WI that produces plastic components for the healthcare industry. This is an associate to hire role.
Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure the automation cell continues running by answering alarms, loading springs or plastic components, and verifying inventory is available and pulled
- Load materials into hoppers and manage inventory using RF scanners
- Conduct visual inspections of incoming parts
- Monitor automation cell performance, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with team members
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area and follow cleanroom requirements
Production Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing and RF scanner experience a plus
- Adequate computer and math skills
- Experience with automation machines/equipment is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude
- Detail-oriented to be able to accurately verify part numbers
- Ability to identify problems
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to visually inspect product and identify defects as defined by the work instructions
- Ability to use powered pallet jacks
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel and twist
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear appropriate PPE as required per ISO standards
