Position Title: Production
Wage: $18.30 per hour
Shift: Night
Hours: 5:00pm-5:00am
QPS Employment Group has a great Production position available at a company in Juda, WI. This is a night shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Remove cheese forms from brine to conveyor.
- Spray down/sanitize in between batches.
- Monitor automated cheese extraction process.
- Following all GMPs (good manufacturing practices), and all company procedures and policies.
- Bagging, scaling, labeling, and preparing cheese for shipping.
- Place cheese black into an air-filled pouch.
- Complete visual inspection of package, remove loose parts.
- Rinse and sanitize equipment throughout shift.
- Ensure continuous flow of product and monitor proper positioning, spacing, sealing and labeling.
- Setup, monitor, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure everything is operating effectively.
- Boxing and palletizing.
Production Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk with frequent bending, twisting and pushing.
- Repetitive lifting up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The physical plant environment is clean, but sometimes cool/hot depending on department, wet and moderately noisy.
- Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene.
- Must be able to read, understand and carry out written procedures.
- Must be able to pass QPS and company screening process.
- Strong math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
- HS diploma or GED preferred.
