Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $18-$22/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
QPS is seeking an experienced Production Associate for an innovative company in Middleton, WI. As a Production Associate, you will help in the manufacturing of precision polyurethane products. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Detailed trimming of small parts with hand tools
- Careful inspection of products to ensure conformance both visually and through measurement, while maintaining perfect aesthetics
- Sandblast and prepare parts utilizing various equipment (lathes, etc.)
- Box and package final productions for shipment
- Proficiency with hand tools and light duty equipment (Dremel, bandsaw, drill)
- Use and measure dispensing equipment
- Follow directions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Work with the production team to ensure delivery dates are met
Production Associate Requirements:
- Strong dependability and reliability
- Effective communication skills and team player mentality
- Willingness to learn and try new things
- Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or maintenance
- Above average fine motor skills and strong attention to details
- Proficiency with hand tools and light duty equipment (Dremel, bandsaw, drill)
- Able to lift 40lbs
- Familiarity with standard materials used in machinery building, such as metals, plastics, etc.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, machine shop practices, tolerances, and other production processes
- Ability to measure and analyze tolerance-critical components
