This company is a narrow web printing, distribution, warehouse and fulfillment center under one roof and is looking for a Press Operator. In addition to the equipment and expertise to produce a wide range of labels and forms construction, this company provides imaging, printing, distribution and warehousing capabilities supported by 55,000 sq. ft. of racked finished good storage capacity. Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read and follow instructions set forth in copy folder to meet customer specifications.
- Insert a shaft through collator roll and web the machine for operation.
- Set up equipment to produce forms.
- Perform quality control inspections of finished products for quality standards set by the customer and the company.
- Understand and comply with the plant quality system.
- Stack finished cartons on pallets.
Press Operator Requirements:
- Must be able to do repetitive, bending, lifting and standing.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to set and adjust machine for finishing operations.
- Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history. Please include details of your work experience on your resume.
- Detail orientated.
- Attendance is crucial- 3 strike policy.
- General knowledge of collating/label application machines.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Able to calculate distances, clearances and fits.
