You’ll inspect and sort potatoes, keep quality standards high, and work alongside a great crew in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience required - just reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work! Potato Grader / Sorter Responsibilities:
- Inspect potatoes as they move along the processing line
- Sort and remove damaged, rotten, green, bruised, or otherwise defective potatoes
- Identify potatoes that do not meet company quality or size standards
- Maintain a consistent pace while working on a moving production line
- Monitor product quality and report issues to the supervisor or machine operator
- Assist with keeping the processing area clean and organized
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform general labor and other duties as assigned
- Work cooperatively with other employees to keep production running efficiently
Requirements for Potato Grader / Sorter:
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, reach, twist and perform repetitive hand movements frequently
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
