Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Inspect products for surface defects and check to make sure material meets size and thickness requirements
- Set up and change machines over
- Report machine problems to direct supervisor
- Perform cleaning and maintenance as needed
- Various types of equipment will be used including but not restricted to forklifts, overhead cranes, banding tools, wood saws, etc.
Requirements for Machine Operator:
- Excellent work history and longevity in past jobs in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read, write and understand English
- Able to read tape measure, blueprints and diagrams
- Good math and problem solving skills
