QPS Employment Group has a great Paint position available at a company in Keosauqua, IA. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.Â
Paint Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prep parts for powder coating or wet painting by cleaning with lacquer thinner and rags.
- Hang prepped parts onto the paint line.
- Apply powder coat to bare metal surfaces.
- Remove painted parts from the paint line and match them accurately with the proper documentation.
- Identify and report poor-quality parts.
- Perform general cleaning of the work area.
- Restock inventory as needed.
Paint Requirements:
- Experience with paint line procedures or processes is helpful.
- Experience applying powder and wet paint is a plus.
- Good hand–eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work in hot environments.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, twist, and reach for the entire shift.
