An established Rockford Printing Company is in need of 1st shift packers and printing assistants. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Apply today!Â
Packing/Printing Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gluing materials edging together using a gluing machine. (called welding)
- Cutting with straight blade.
- Building boxes, taping, labeling.
- Packing completed print work for shipping.
- Will assist seamstress with sewing – rolling large pieces of fabric to help guide into sewing machine.
- Using hand tools – drill, gromet machine, package sealer.
Packing/Printing Assistant Requirements:
- Able to follow instruction & take correction well.
- Good focus and attention to detail.
- Able to read tape measure.
- Basic math skills.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to stand for the entire shift.
- Able to report for work consistently, and report for overtime as needed.
