Packer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the team in packaging medications that make a significant global impact.
- Manual loading of capsules or tablets into blister sheets, sealing them with foil, and cutting them to meet specific job configurations.
- Insert blister strips into pre-printed blister cards, folded, and heat-sealed. Bottles are labeled and packed for delivery, either manually or through pre-printed shippers.
- Assist in the operation of machines like Multivac, bivane machines, and bottling or pouching lines.
- Employees rotate every two hours between sitting and standing, as well as different job functions to reduce strain.
Packer Requirements:
- Employees will be on their feet or bending frequently for up to 12 hours a day, engaging in tasks like reaching, lifting, and sweeping.
- Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. with the help of a team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English, with strong knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) processes and warehouse safety regulations.
