QPS Employment Group has a great Packaging position at a company in Lenexa, KS. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Packaging Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handle Petri dishes as they come off the production line.
- Move product into the designated packaging area.
- Place bundles of Petri dishes into appropriate bags.
- Ensure products are packaged correctly and according to established procedures.
- Work alongside other team members responsible for sealing packaged products.
- Monitor products for damage, defects, or packaging issues.
- Assist with the packaging line as needed.
- Tape boxes closed at the end of the packaging line.
- Apply appropriate product labels.
- Place completed boxes onto pallets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all production, quality, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Complete required documentation accurately.
Packaging Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation.
- Work is performed in a controlled manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- May require shift work, overtime, or weekend support based on business needs
- Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work at a consistent production pace.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
