Packaging Responsibilities:
- Hang the empty bag on bag filler machine
- Guide bag through heat sealer or sewing machine to seal the end of the bag
- Stack bags of pet food on pallets
- Prepare pallets for shipment by wrapping stacked pallets
- Keep work area clean and free from clutter
Requirements For Packaging:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in plain English
- Ability to work in a physical position
- Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist and reach
- Must be able to grasp and hold objects using both hands
