QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Pack Tech at a company in Beaver Dam, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift, apply today!
Pack Tech Responsibilities:
- Pack packets into plastic pails or boxes, place into cartons, seal cartons, and palletize completed products.
- Manually cap plastic bottles and apply labels or slip sleeves to bottles and cases.
- Palletize completed products for shipment.
- Remove blocks from trays, weigh cases using a scale, and palletize finished cases.
- Apply labels to boxes or bags using a hand labeler.
- Follow company safety, quality, and production procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements for Pack Tech:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a minimum 8th-grade level for safety and operational purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance with the ability to report to work on time each day.
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and manipulate objects, tools, and controls.
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms throughout shifts of up to 10 hours.
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout shifts of up to 10 hours.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, up to 5 days per week.
